Can I purchase a Cruise policy if I am not travelling on a Cruise holiday?
The Single trip policy is only available to people who are travelling on a Cruise holiday. However if you purchase an Annual Cruise policy as long as one holiday is a Cruise the policy will then cover you for all other holidays taken in that year regardless of whether they are a Cruise or not.

What's a pre-existing medical condition?
If you have taken any medication, or received treatment for any condition/s in the last two years by a doctor or at a hospital.

Why does my pre-existing condition need cover?
When travelling abroad medical treatment can be very expensive. Should you require assistance without comprehensive cover it could be a very costly experience.

I'm not sure what's wrong, I am having tests, is this a pre-existing medical condition?
We cannot assess a condition that has not been diagnosed. Wait until you have the results from your medical professional. Once a condition is diagnosed then we can assess it.

My treatment finishes soon, should I wait?
No, just answer the questions as of today. If you are still having treatment, even if it finishes tomorrow, answer yes because you are still having treatment today.

I've got a medical condition but the rest of the family does not. Should they go elsewhere?
No, we recommend that all people on the same holiday be covered under the same travel insurance.

Will I need a medical certificate?
We very rarely ask for one. We rely on you answering the medical questions accurately. We do not cover claims for any existing medical problem which you have not told us about.

Are there any age limits?
The maximum age limit for annual trips is 64 years old. Single trips have no upper age limit

What happens if I change my mind after I've bought AllClear?
You can cancel your policy with a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, as long as you haven't travelled or are going to make a claim.

What do I do if I have a medical emergency whilst abroad?
Contact the 24 hour medical emergency service on +44 208 763 3119, who will be able to assist you immediately in the event of an insured persons illness or injury arising outside the UK. Policy number will be required.

How do I make a claim?
Please telephone the White Horse Insurance Ireland Limited Claims Department on 0871 664 7995.
Please note that it is a condition of your policy that you notify us of your intention to make a claim within 45 days of your return date.
